Equine Assisted Qualifications
This programme is designed to assist participants in discovering their unique gifts, honing their powers of adaptability and innovation, sharpening equestrian and facilitation skills, improving written and spoken communication skills and carving out their own niche in the fast-growing, multi-faceted field of Equine Facilitated Learning.
We make every effort to bring together a diverse, well-balanced, mutually supportive, conscientious group of self-motivated individuals who are either already active in this field or seriously planning to start their own practices.
I chose the IFEAL Equine Assisted Qualifications programme because I liked the structure of the programme, the depth of study and most of all the calibre of the teachers and speakers. I spent most of my working life working for large Financial Services organisations across a variety of disciplines including Marketing, Business Development, Product Management, Relationship Management and Change Management. The work I always enjoyed the most was leading Change Management projects. I knew I wanted a complete change of career/life style and that if I could include horses in my work it would be a dream coming true; then I met Sun Tui and became absolutely captivated by the opportunity that the IFEAL training programme offers. I have spent a number of years in therapy myself and wanted to use that experience if I possibly could. I looked at programmes offered by the other main providers of training in this area but none of the other programmes seem as inspirational or demand such in-depth study.
I love every minute of the programme though it’s not always very comfortable work with regards to the self development required. I am learning so much which is fantastic. The relationship that Sun Tui and Babs Murray have with Kathleen Barry Ingram is very special and working with Kathleen is a huge privilege in itself being the co-creator of The Epona Approach with Linda Kohanov. IFEAL is a very supportive organisation to be a part of and that feels really good.
